This week I wrote a basic outline for the publishing assigment. I posted it on my site under Forms and Docs: Short Story Assignment-Publishing Project. I then went to Wordplay to check it out a bit more, but the site kept having problems and wouldn't let me register on the site, so I wasn't able to learn much more about Wordplay. Then I went to Lulu to check it out instead, but I am not sure if I like their conditions for registration, expecially if I would want an an entire classroom to register individually.

For the upcoming assignment, I have decided to provide Wordclay for the classroom. I really like the idea of modivating students to work hard towards something they love. I know a lot of students with amazing talent who may lack comviction or modivation to work hard towards a desired end. I'm excited to learn more about Wordclay and understand the excitement it could provide to help students have a greater confidence and interest in writing.

My class website is MissFrostClassroom. It is presented as a high school teacher's website. I actually enjoyed playing with the media for the site. I geared everything towards assignments in George Orwell's 1984, and was able to create a poster and find a movie trailer that seemed to fit with it well.
